Launched in 2018, AMPLIFY Digital Arts Initiative (Amplify D.A.I) is a joint initiative of the British Council in partnership with MUTEK Montréal, MUTEK Buenos Aires, Somerset House Studios, Artlab, Fundación Williams and Oi Futuro. The program is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and INAMU.

In its first 4 years, the program has brought together 95 female artists and professionals from 9 different nationalities, across 3 continents, to build an active network of female creators working in the electronic music, digital arts, sound and immersive storytelling sectors in Canada, Latin America and the UK. Drawing on different cultures and experiences, AMPLIFY D.A.I. fosters a platform for dialogue on gender equity and commits resources for professional and capacity building activities, peer-to-peer exchanges and opportunities for network participants to showcase their work in the context of festivals, events and residencies in a dynamic and contemporary way.
