Berenice Llorens AR

Multidisciplinary artist, composer, guitarist and Argentinian DJ based in Berlin.

Through her work, she develops an artistic research on musical composition and the transformations of the creative process according to the temporal, visual and auditory perception of the environment we inhabit. She composes real-time electronic musical experiences capturing and reinterpreting soundscapes of nature and the city. Oscillating from broken and alive pulses through the sonic textures of electroacoustic music and techno, she creates experimental atmospheres in constant transformation. Her artistic expression expands to drawing, poetry, and video art practices. Currently, she is researching and working on a multi-channel immersive sound installation where she digs deeper into the endangered sonority of the native forest. Collaboration is an essential aspect of her work, which includes duo and trio projects such as “toros” and “Marmotas Dreams,” as well as collaborations with ensembles, visual artists, and professionals in film and dance.

Her solo and group works have been exhibited at festivals such as Mutek (CA), Mutek (AR), Oi Futuro (BR), Acud Macht Neu (GE), LPM 2023 (GE), Earth Day Arts Model (USA), NowNet Arts (USA), Centro de Arte Sonoro (AR) and Museo Sívori (AR), among others. In 2022 she produced and curated the radio show “Amplify x Radio Rea” and she currently produces the “Beyond Of_Line” radio show at Berlin Radio Refuge Worldwide.
