The duo of Argentinian multidisciplinary artists Gimena Federici and Julia Posada, based in Mendoza.

Motia is an artistic studio that creates immersive realities, investigates and experiences digital art by placing itself in physical/virtual space using various technological devices from a narrative, poetic and conceptual perspective. Their creation process is based on research into the design of unconventional scenic spaces, the sound-visual composition of a reality-fiction and interactivity with the subject that inhabits it. They merge different software and hardware tools to create 3D/2D ecosystems. They combine the languages of audiovisual art and spatial lighting for the construction of stage sets and performative murals and immersive installations with their own language, which evokes landscapes of digital surrealist aesthetics, promoting the irrational and dreamlike through arbitrary connections to their own existence.
Their digital works have participated in numerous multidisciplinary projects. They are motivated by the continuous desire to create experiences that inspire strong sensitive stimulation to experience, engage and find oneself emotionally and viscerally.
