A series of virtual panels to reflect on the presence of women in electronic music
Organised by La Usina del Arte (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and running since May 20th, Ritmas is a series of virtual panels for debate and reflection on the experiences of women in electronic music.
AMPLIFY DAI is present in the event with the participation of Victoria Ferreira (programme coordinator in Argentina), the artists Efe Ce Ele and Sol Rezza, and with the organisation of the closing panel, entitled “Gender and diversity in the international context: a perspective from the AMPLIFY DAI programme”. The talk will take place in English with simultaneous translation on Thursday June 17th at 3pm Argentina (7pm UK / 2pm Canada) through the Zoom platform.
Participants are:
– Patti Schmidt (Canada), AMPLIFY DAI advisor, who will moderate the panel and share the programme’s annual report.
– Leonara Manyangadze (UK): Somerset House Studios producer.
– Flora Yin-Wong (UK): AMPLIFY DAI artist.
