Argentinian engineer, visual artist, researcher, and creative director Diana León, resident in the city of Mar del Plata.
She works at the intersection of sound, algorithms and image, combining experimentation with the materiality of code and sound in her performances and installations. Candidate for the Master’s Degree in Technology and Aesthetics of Electronic Arts at the UNTREF University, software developer for companies such as Globant, Technisys, Band of Coders (Buenos Aires), Rolex (Paris), mobile development (Android, iOS) in AppsWorld (Barcelona) and currently in CommonAreas (Online, United States). She completed an artist residency in Media Arts and Creative Computing at SMU, University of Edinburgh, Scotland. She participates as a teacher in two subjects at the UNICEN Faculty of Art (Creative Programming and Interactivity Laboratory), in the diploma in Transmedia Narratives and Interactivity Technologies, also in different spaces and workshops. She participated in festivals and events such as Fase, Pleamar Electronic Arts Festival, Spam Arts, and Mirar Film Festival.
