Tijuana-based digital and electronic artist Leslie García, also half of Interspecifics, and LogarDecay
As Microhm, Garcia develops electronic music from an abstraction side that complements improvisation sessions to form a changing and dislocated sound that gathers influences that range from slow techno, ambient, noise, and IDM, among others. Leslie García is an electronic artist and digital media developer, co-founder of the Tijuana-based electronic media collective DreamAddictive, member of Mexico City-based Astrovandalistas and Interspecifics, and a research associate at Nucleo Laboratorial Nano – Escola de Belas Artes – Universidad Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Her work has been shown at prestigious events and museums around the world including, Media Lab Prado, Museo de Arte Reina Sofia, O1SJ, Museum of Latin American Arts, Piksel Festival, Ars Electrónica México, Centro Cultural de España, Public Art Lab Berlin, NOMAD Center for media research, ISEA, MUTEK_MX, Transmediale, CTM Berlin, NIME 2014 London, Sight & Sound Montréal, ICAD International Conference for Auditory Display Graz, and European Congress on Artificial Intelligence.
