Argentinian multimedia creator and producer Sofia Chizzini, originally from Ushuaia.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and TV from UNC and has been working in the audiovisual field for more than 10 years in development, direction, production, design and assembly of audiovisual projects. Her artistic practice is deeply influenced by the imposing and hostile nature of the environment. She explores possibilities of encounter between the concrete and the virtual, these concepts in constant dialogue with a strong aesthetic imprint.
She intervenes, breaks, deforms and resignifies with digital techniques the possibility of the new that inhabits the old. She experiences the known until she does not know it.
In 2017 she created the visuals and animation for an audio-reactive installation at the opening of the Ushuaia Shh International Mountain Film Festival. In 2019 she had the opportunity to participate in the Duka Film Festival at Schonow Castle, in Germany, where she made an audio-reactive videomapping installation. In 2021 she won a scholarship from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes with a videomapping project in the city of Ushuaia (WIP).
In 2023 she inaugurated her creative label: ARCHIPÍELAGO MEDIA
