Vanessa Massa AR

Argentinian visual artist and architect born in Formosa, based in Buenos Aires.

She studied painting with Andres Waissman. Since 2010 she has exhibited at various points in the city of Buenos Aires, including the Legislature. She worked in collective workshops of artists from the local Buenos Aires scene. In 2011 she began researching digital art to add to her pictorial graphic expression. Since 2021, she has been using AI (artificial intelligence) tools to upload her own work and create spaces, objects and experiences by taking the human brushstroke, color and material into the digital realm. In 2021 she participated in the annual closing event of the Amplify D.A.I. programme in Artlab; in 2022, at the Mapa Contemporary Art Fair, Mutek Buenos Aires Festival and the Ciudad Emergente festival, and in 2023 she performed at arteBA and in Malba.
