Joaquina Salgado is a digital artist, VJ and multimedia designer specializing in 3D world-building and immersive experiences, including VR. In 2018 she graduated from the National University of La Plata as a multimedia designer. She teaches live image creation at UNLP and the Recoleta Cultural Centre. Her immersive VR experience Lawentuchefe, installed at the Kirchner Cultural Centre in Buenos Aires and the Konex Cultural Centre, is inspired by the experiences of the Indigenous women of the Patagonian region of Argentina and their connection with nature.
